Annual Nevada State Conference

The Nevada State Conference on Problem Gambling is an annual professional education event that brings together diverse experts and stakeholders to address the impact of this significant community health issue on the people of Nevada.

This conference fosters awareness, enhances education, facilitates professional networking, and draws in participants from various sectors such as addiction and mental health service providers. People from interested stakeholder groups like prevention, education, research, public policy, the gaming industry, and the recovery community converge to learn and exchange their insights and expertise.

The Nevada Council welcomes presentation submissions from all who have qualified expertise or experience to share! Our conference participants learn from local and national experts during two full days of sessions. Frequent networking and refreshment breaks are provided for sharing ideas and interacting with community resources. Enjoy a full luncheon and refreshments each day.

The Nevada Council on Problem Gambling is an approved Continuing Education Provider for the Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors, and the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board. Applications are made to other Nevada Professional Boards.




The Nevada Council presents this annual education and networking event to raise awareness, educate, and empower communities to reduce the impact of problem gambling through Prevention, Education, Treatment, Research and Recovery.

The conference attracts up to 250 attendees providing a wide range of professional interests looking to learn and engage with a multitude of perspectives in a collaborative atmosphere.


The Annual Conference is supported in part by a grant from the State of Nevada Problem Gambling Prevention and Treatment Fund. The Nevada Council on Problem Gambling is a non-profit 501(c)(3) information and referral agency, and an Affiliate of the National Council on Problem Gambling. The Council does not take a stand for or against legal gambling.
