Interested in lending a hand? Learn how you can get started volunteering by joining our team of ELVes!
{ELV = Entry Level Volunteer}
Everything starts somewhere, and at the Council ‘lending a hand’ starts with ELVes – our Entry Level Volunteers. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something, so ELVes first complete a questionnaire about their interests and experience, followed by a brief interview with Council staff. Qualified ELVes may be asked to assist Program staff in preparing for community outreach activities and education events, by performing such basic tasks such as folding, sorting, counting, wrapping, and packing of printed information and materials. The Council schedules volunteer time based on anticipated program needs, and all initial activities for ELVes takes place at our Las Vegas office location (5552 S. Fort Apache Rd., Suite 100).

Host a Lunch & Learn Staff Briefing or Community Awareness Session
The Nevada Council on Problem Gambling welcomes opportunities to bring problem gambling information to members of our community. If your organization, agency or place of business would like to educate your employees about this important community health issue, consider hosting a Lunch & Learn event in partnership with us. You provide the lunch and the audience, and we’ll provide the expert speaker and resource information!
