Governor Bryan Sandoval has proclaimed the month of March 2015 as Problem Gambling Awareness Month in Nevada! The goal of this nationwide grassroots campaign is to educate the public and healthcare professionals about the warning signs of problem gambling and to promote the availability of help and hope through treatment and support resources. This month also celebrates the many recovering individuals and families who share their experience, strength and hope to help others recover from gambling addiction.

The first step to raising awareness about anything, is simply to talk about it!  Throughout the Month of March, we’ll be sharing ideas, suggestions, information and tools to help everyone “HAVE THE CONVERSATION” about gambling and problem gambling!  Join us as we promote and celebrate Problem Gambling Awareness Month in Nevada and nationwide!
