While gambling is harmless entertainment for most people, it can become a serious problem for some - just like alcoholism or drug addiction. Although not easily recognized, problem gambling can be a significant employee wellness issue, affecting the workplace through lost time and productivity.

WHEN THE FUN STOPS™ is a one-hour awareness training program that introduces your employees to the reality of this community health issue and the resources available for help.

A unique feature of this training module is a 23-minute video which explores the phenomenon of problem gambling through the expertise of a Nevada treatment professional and the experiences of four Nevada residents who are successfully dealing with their own gambling problem

Instructional materials include: *PowerPoint slide presentation; 23-minute video; *Instructor's manual; *Participant handout; *Multiple-choice quiz; and wallet-size attendance verification cards. (*Also available in Spanish)

Open Enrollment

(Recommended for businesses with less than 20 employees)

Sessions are conducted every month by Council trainers at designated times and locations in Nevada. Any individual may attend who has pre-registered and made payment at least 48 hours prior to class time. Attendance verification card provided to each participant.

Cost is $35 per person.

Group Training

(Recommended for businesses with 20 - 250 employees)

Companies may contract for group training sessions of up to 30 employees each, to be conducted at NCPG training facility or alternate site.

Fees range from $12 to $30 per person depending on total number of employees trained.

Curriculum License Agreement
(Recommended for businesses with over 250 employees)

Companies may contract for unlimited use of When the Fun Stops™ curriculum in their internal employee training programs. Includes 4-hour Train the Trainer class for certification of 2 or more company trainers. Each certified trainer receives one complete set of instructional materials in English and Spanish.

Cost is based on initial licensing fee with discounted annual renewals.
